Bike Servicing

Although it is sometimes hard to notice, your bike is constantly wearing down and going out of tune. Our servicing covers the whole spectrum, from a full overhaul to just fixing what immediately needs attention. We will always let you know of any heavy wear or possible reliability issues, so you can decide whether to act on it early or not. Classic bikes with old school brakes and derailleurs are not a problem. From tweaking gears to a full rebuild, we will get your bike running like it should.

Bike Fitting

One of the most underrated parts of riding is achieving the right bike fit. Refining how you interact with you bike can be the difference between you getting injured or not, or feeling comfortable so you can perform at your optimum. Here at Black Peak Cycles we can help you find the perfect bike fit so you can pedal for thousands of Km’s knowing you are not doing any harm to your body. Every time Doug builds me one of his bespoke wheels I’m reminded that he has thirty five years of experience in the trade. His attention to details like precision spoke tension, wheel balance and truing, extra spokes, rim tape and profoundly professional packaging…they never fail to impress.

Suspension

Suspension servicing and setup are two things that Black Peak Cycles is renowned for. Your suspension is slowly degrading from the day you start riding your bike. Heat generated from suspension movement degrades the suspension fluids and degrades the performance of your suspension. Regular servicing is the key to keeping it all working as it should. With over 40 years of hands on suspension work and many kilometers of testing all over the world, our 'Pro Tuned' suspension service is second to none.
